When we first were looking for apartments, I thought I wanted to live near Hyde Park- it seemed central, it was in all my favorite Regency romance novels (don't judge), and was a good mental point of reference for me.
We ended up closer to Regent's Park, so in the interest of learning my way around I went exploring- I can't believe how beautiful it is (especially being January!)- and still so much green. I'm sure once the weather is nicer, it will be far more crowded, but on a grey day in January, I felt like I had the place almost entirely to myself. Well, me and birds (seriously SO MANY birds!).
I can't wait to see what it looks like in spring!

European ducks kill me. They all seem so exotic and charming. And then I remember all the tourists taking pictures of squirrels in Central Park and i hate myself :)
